This poor girl is loaded down with puppies, but that doesn’t deter her love of retrieving or the water.  She probably relishes the weightless feeling she enjoys while swimming.  Her trademark launch into the water is now a bit awkward and cumbersome.  We are anxiously awaiting the announcement of her puppies and look forward to meeting you.  Until then, enjoy Willow.

We are about 2.5 weeks out on Indi’s upcoming litter.  As soon as her pups are born, we’ll have links to a new page where you can reserve your picks of the litter.  We don’t maintain a waiting list so check back for updates.  Indi is an intense retriever and doesn’t let her extra size slow her down.

After being shot, this dove made it to opposite side of the river where it crashed into the brush.  Rico marked the wounded bird and left when sent.  The current pushed him down river from his mark but he quickly worked his way back up the bank, making a very long retrieve.  It’s a joy to see this kind of dog work on the first bird of the season.
